Alexander Brown for Willowdale

I would like to thank all the wonderful people who helped us in the campaign in Willowdale. Many people helped with canvassing, signs, literature distribution and financially. We had more signs up in Willowdale for this election than we have ever had before. I would particularly like to thank those community members who supported me by having an Alexander Brown sign on their property.

Although we did not win, we substantially increased the percentage NDP vote in Willowdale from the last provincial election.

We will follow with interest the work the NDP will do with our seventeen members in a minority situation in the provincial legislature.

When you join you are automatically a member of both the Provincial and Federal NDP. Join us and play a part in the upcoming Federal leadership convention on March 24, 2011. All members will be able to cast a vote for the leader.

The cut-off period for memberships able to cast a ballot in the leadership contest is February 18, 2012 (35 days before the voting day at Convention). All memberships valid on the cut-off date will receive a ballot.
